Privacy policy Chrome extension

What the extension does

The extension runs only on LinkedIn hiring pages you open (linkedin.com/hiring/…). When you click “Download resumes”, it opens each applicant's resume viewer in your own logged-in browser session and saves the resume file to your computer's Downloads folder, together with an index.csv listing applicant names, file names and download status.

What stays local, and what we receive

Candidate files stay in your browser and Downloads folder

Applicant names and resumes are processed locally for the export. The extension does not send resume files, applicant names, or your LinkedIn password to us. If you start a trial or purchase Pro, our licensing and email services receive the email address you provide, your trial or plan status, and trial usage counts as described below.

Data stored in your browser

Your settings — output format, folder pattern, delay (Chrome sync storage).
Export progress per job — applicant names and download status, so a stopped export can resume (Chrome local storage). Removed when you uninstall the extension.
A cached copy of our configuration file (see below).

Network requests the extension makes

linkedin.com — only the requests your browser would make when you view a resume yourself.
waslioconnect.com — fetches a small JSON configuration file (page selectors, timing) every 6 hours so we can adapt to LinkedIn layout changes. This request does not include applicant names or resume contents. Our server also receives trial and plan events described below.
extensionpay.com — license verification and payment. ExtensionPay receives a random installation identifier and, if you purchase, your email address and payment details (processed by Stripe). See ExtensionPay's privacy policy and Stripe's privacy policy.
Brevo (brevo.com) — product emails. If you start a free trial or purchase, the extension sends the email address you gave ExtensionPay, together with the trial/plan status (whether you are on the trial or Pro, and how many of the trial resumes you have used), to our server (waslioconnect.com), which passes it to Brevo so we can send you onboarding and product emails about Resume Downloader. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your contact at any time. No LinkedIn data or applicant data is ever sent. See Brevo's privacy policy.

Permissions explained

downloads — save resume PDFs and index.csv to your Downloads folder.
storage — keep your settings and export progress.
alarms — schedule the configuration refresh.
Access to linkedin.com/hiring/* — read the applicants table on hiring pages you open.
Access to extensionpay.com — licensing.
Access to waslioconnect.com — remote settings, and product-email sign-up (only after you give us your email).

Your responsibilities

Resumes you download contain personal data of candidates. You are the controller of that data under applicable law (for example GDPR, CCPA or the UAE PDPL) and are responsible for storing and using it lawfully, and for complying with LinkedIn's User Agreement.
