Terms of Service

01Who we are

Waslio Connect (“we”, “us”) builds software and provides website, app, integration and automation services. We are based in the United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at founder@waslioconnect.com.

By using this website, installing or using one of our products, or buying a paid plan, you agree to these terms. If you use a product on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for that business.

02What these terms cover

These terms cover the following products. Where a product has its own terms, those apply to that product too, and they take priority if the two conflict.

03Plans, billing and cancellation

Waslio Courier

• Plans, prices and included delivery volumes are shown on the Shopify App Store listing and inside the app. Shopify charges you on your Shopify bill, and Shopify’s billing terms apply.
• If your plan includes usage charges beyond its included deliveries, they are only charged within the spending limit you approve in Shopify.
• You can change plans or cancel at any time from the app or by uninstalling it.
• Our fees do not include delivery charges. Your courier bills you directly under your own account.

Resume Downloader

• The free tier lets you save the first 10 resumes per job post. Pro removes those limits and costs $10 per month or $89 per year for new subscriptions.
• You upgrade from inside the extension. Checkout and licensing are handled by ExtensionPay, and payments are processed by Stripe.
• Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the extension’s payment page, or by emailing us, and you will not be charged for later periods.

Odoo payment connectors

• You buy the connectors on the Odoo Apps Store, and its terms and refund rules apply to the purchase. Setup and onboarding support from us is included for the purchased version.
• Your payment provider (Checkout.com or noon payments) charges its own fees under your own merchant account.

All paid products

• If we change the price of a recurring plan, we will tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal. On Shopify, a price change also needs your approval.
• Unless the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded for part of a billing period. If you think you were charged in error, email us and we will look into it.
• The billing platform may add taxes that apply where you are.

04Your accounts and third-party services

Our products connect services you already use: your Shopify store, your courier accounts (such as noon Send, Careem Express or Quiqup), your Odoo, your payment provider account, and your LinkedIn account. You bring your own accounts and credentials.

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for having the right to connect each store, account or system you link.
• You must follow the terms of those services, and you pay any fees they charge, such as courier rates and payment gateway fees.
• We are not a courier, payment processor, marketplace, ERP vendor or recruitment platform, and we do not resell those services. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify, noon, Odoo S.A., LinkedIn, Checkout.com or any courier.
• Those services can change or stop their APIs and pages without notice. We work to keep up with changes, but we cannot promise that a feature depending on a third party will keep working.

05Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• use our website or products to break the law or to infringe anyone’s rights;
• connect accounts, stores or data you are not authorised to use;
• try to access another customer’s data, probe or overload our systems, or get around plan limits or licence checks;
• copy, resell or redistribute our software, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows;
• use Resume Downloader for anything other than applicants to jobs you are allowed to manage, or in a way that breaches LinkedIn’s terms or data protection law;
• send spam, malware, or other people’s confidential data through our forms or chat.

Guides, templates and downloadable workbooks on this website are general information and starting points. They are not legal, tax or financial advice. Check them against your own systems and requirements before you rely on them.

06Your data and privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy and in the product policies it links to.

When you use our products for your business, you are responsible for the personal data of your own customers, applicants and staff that you process with them. For example, delivery details in Waslio Courier and resumes you save with Resume Downloader. You need a lawful basis to collect and use that data. When you uninstall Waslio Courier, your store’s data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy and in line with Shopify’s data-erasure requests.

07Intellectual property

Our software, website content and brand belong to Waslio Connect. While you have access to a product, you may use it for your own business purposes under these terms. This is not a transfer of ownership. Ownership of custom project work is set out in the agreement for that project.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you. Third-party names and logos on this site belong to their owners.

08Changes to our products

We improve our products regularly, so features may be added, changed or removed. If we remove a significant feature from a paid plan, we will tell affected customers in advance where we reasonably can.

Features or integrations marked “beta” are still being tested and may change or be withdrawn. In Waslio Courier, the simulated demo never books a real rider. Live dispatch books a real delivery with your courier, and your courier’s rates apply.

09Disclaimers

Our website and products are provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep them reliable, but we do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every setup.

We are not responsible for the services of third parties, including courier performance, delivery times, payment gateway decisions, LinkedIn availability, or problems in Shopify or Odoo. Please check important results in the system they affect. For example, confirm drop-off pins before dispatch, and check payment and stock records in Odoo or Shopify.

10Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill;
• our total liability for any claim relating to a product or this website is limited to the fees you paid us for that product in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded by contract.

11Suspension and termination

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the Shopify app, removing the browser extension or mobile app, uninstalling an Odoo module, or cancelling a subscription.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law or a platform we distribute through (such as Shopify, the Chrome Web Store or the Odoo Apps Store) requires it, or if we need to protect our products or other customers. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

When access ends, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that are meant to continue, such as disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, continue to apply.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our products change. We will update the effective date above. For material changes, we will also take reasonable steps to tell active customers, for example in the product or by email, before the changes take effect. If you keep using our website or products after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

13Governing law and disputes

These terms are interpreted in line with generally recognised principles of international commercial contracts (the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts), not the law of any single country. If you have a concern, please email us first. Most issues can be solved quickly that way. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally within 60 days will be finally settled by arbitration under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, conducted in English and online where possible. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live, including the right to use your local courts where that law gives it to you.

Product-specific terms may name a different governing law for that product.
