To connect noon Send to Shopify, you need a noon Send business account, the API key noon issues for it, and the outlet code for your pickup point. With those, you can book deliveries manually in noon’s own tools, build a custom integration, or install an integration app that turns a Shopify order into a noon Send delivery request.
This guide walks through the app route step by step using Waslio, our Shopify app for courier dispatch. It also covers how to test without booking a rider and the setup problems that come up most often. Waslio is independent software: it is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by noon.
What you need before you start
- A noon Send business account. Live deliveries run on your own account, at the rates and coverage in your agreement with noon. An integration app does not resell courier capacity.
- API credentials. As of July 2026, noon did not publish public developer documentation for Send. API access is arranged through your Send for Business account or your noon account manager, so ask them specifically for Send API access.
- Your pickup outlet code. noon identifies each pickup point by an outlet code. Outlet codes are at least five characters long.
- Clean order data in Shopify. noon needs a contact phone number for the customer, and the rider needs an accurate drop-off location.
Keep noon’s products apart. noon’s marketplace seller tools and noon Payments are separate services with their own credentials. A seller or payments key is not a Send key.
Three ways to connect noon Send and Shopify
| Option | How it works | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Manual booking | Copy each order’s address, phone number and location into the booking tools noon gives your business account. | A handful of orders a day, or a trial period |
| Custom integration | A developer builds against the API documentation noon shares with your account. | Teams with developers and unusual workflows |
| Integration app | An app reads the Shopify order, asks you to confirm the pin and sends the delivery request with your credentials. | Stores that want to dispatch from Shopify without maintaining code |
Manual booking costs nothing extra, but every address and phone number copied by hand is a chance for a wrong pin or a missing digit, and tracking has to be pasted back into Shopify. A custom build gives full control, but you then own status updates, cancellations, error handling and Shopify fulfilment for as long as you use it. An app handles that plumbing for a monthly fee.
Step by step: connect noon Send with Waslio
- Install Waslio. Install Waslio from the Shopify App Store and open it from your Shopify admin. The Free plan includes 30 deliveries a month. Paid plans and their usage limits are listed on the App Store and billed through Shopify.
- Open Settings → Couriers. Choose noon Send from the courier list.
- Enter your credentials. Paste the noon API key and your pickup outlet code. The country code is optional: two lowercase letters, such as
ae, which is the default. Waslio stores the API key encrypted. - Verify the connection. Run the verification before any live dispatch. If it fails, use the troubleshooting section below rather than retrying blindly.
- Choose an order and confirm the drop-off pin. Open an unfulfilled order in Waslio and check the pin on the map. Waslio uses coordinates it already has, such as a pin you confirmed earlier for the same address or coordinates a checkout location app saved on the order. Otherwise it geocodes the shipping address. Treat a geocoded pin as a suggestion and move it if it is wrong.
- Dispatch and share tracking. Confirm the request. Waslio sends it to noon Send with your outlet code, follows the delivery status and gives the customer a branded tracking page. When the rider picks up the order, Waslio creates the Shopify fulfilment with the tracking link.
- Automate when you are ready. Once a few manual dispatches look right, set an auto-dispatch trigger: order created, paid, fulfilled or tagged, including tags added by Shopify Flow. Routing rules by zone, time window and order tag come next. Some features depend on your plan.
Test with demo mode first
You can try the whole flow before your noon credentials arrive. Enter demo as the noon Send API key and Waslio switches to a simulated delivery. Statuses progress and the tracking page works, but no courier API is contacted and no rider is booked.
Use the demo to check three things: that your team knows where to confirm pins, how the tracking page looks with your branding, and which auto-dispatch trigger fits your packing routine. Then replace demo with your real API key and outlet code and verify again. For your first live delivery, choose an order you can watch closely, during hours when your pickup point is staffed.
Common setup problems and fixes
The outlet code is rejected
noon outlet codes are at least five characters long, and Waslio flags a shorter code when you save it. Copy the code exactly as your account manager supplied it, without spaces, and make sure it belongs to the location you ship from. Each pickup point has its own code.
The credentials are not accepted
Re-enter the key in Settings → Couriers and verify again. Confirm that it is a noon Send API key, not a marketplace seller or noon Payments credential. If it still fails, ask your account manager to confirm the key is active for your outlet.
The pin is in the wrong place
Addresses written as a building name, community or landmark can geocode to the wrong spot. Confirm the pin before dispatch, especially for new customers. Once you confirm a pin, Waslio remembers it for that address and uses it next time. If many customers give imprecise addresses, consider a checkout app that captures map coordinates.
The order has no phone number
noon requires a contact phone number for the customer. In Shopify’s checkout settings, make the shipping address phone number required. Waslio strips spaces, dashes and brackets from phone numbers before sending them, so formatting differences are not a problem.
The address is outside coverage, or no rider is assigned
Coverage and rider availability are set by noon, not by any integration. Ask your account manager which areas your outlet serves and during which hours. If you connect a second courier, routing rules can send out-of-area orders elsewhere. The dispatch waterfall can also rebook with the next courier when no rider is assigned within the window you set. Other couriers in Waslio are currently Beta: built, with sandbox validation pending.
What about cash on delivery?
If a Shopify order is not marked as paid, Waslio sends the outstanding order total to noon Send as the amount to collect. Prepaid orders are sent with nothing to collect. Cash handling, remittance timing and any fees are governed by your agreement with noon, so confirm them before offering COD widely.

Frequently asked questions
Is Waslio an official noon app?
No. Waslio is an independent Shopify app by Waslio Connect. It is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by noon. It connects to noon Send using the API credentials from your own noon Send business account.
Can I try the integration without a noon Send account?
Yes. Enter demo as the noon Send API key and Waslio runs a simulated delivery. No courier is contacted and no rider is booked. Live deliveries need your own noon Send account and credentials.
Does Waslio include noon Send delivery charges?
No. Waslio is the software. Delivery charges, coverage and cash-collection terms come from your agreement with noon. Waslio’s own plans, including a Free plan with 30 deliveries a month, are billed through Shopify.
Does Waslio send SMS or WhatsApp updates to customers?
Not at the moment. Customers get a branded tracking link, which Waslio adds to the Shopify fulfilment when the rider picks up the order. You can also share the link through your own channels.
Can I use another courier alongside noon Send?
Yes. Waslio is a multi-courier app, so you can add other courier accounts and set routing rules and failover between them. noon Send is production-ready; the other connectors, including Quiqup, Careem Express, Jeebly and Aramex, are in Beta while sandbox validation is pending.
Waslio Connect is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by noon, Shopify or any courier named here. Courier details reflect public courier materials and integration documentation reviewed in July 2026; services, coverage, prices and terms change, so confirm them with the courier. Waslio plan prices and limits are listed on the Shopify App Store.
